John and Colleen Fett winners for 2024

Time of year again that the MOCQ celebrated those members who have passed with a combined run from the Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba Groups. Each group had their own runs planned and all met at Cormorant Bay recreational area near Wivenhoe Dam, for a combined BBQ and a fun quiz. The quiz is the responsibility of the previous years event and that honour went to Matt and Robyn Coultis. The BBQ which was supplied by the MOCQ was a great hit with home made patties and marinated chicken for those who are gluten intolerant. It was a great day with approximately 50 people in 20 cars. Looking forward to next years event but first we have the Mini Muster on the 20th October at the Rocklea showgrounds. There was also a raffle of bottles of wine, Judy Retchless won two bottles, David and Elizabeth Smith won the last bottle. Proceeds of the raffle go to the Care Kits for Kids Charity and the amount raised was $175.45 well done to every one.
