About the event
The MOCQ are looking at doing a celebration event to Bathurst next year (2026) to celebrate 60 years of the Mini Coopers winning the great race in 1966. The planning has started and it looks as though it will be a 10 day/9 night run. We are planning not to drive more than 5hrs per day taking three nights to get to Bathurst, 3 nights in Bathurst and 3 nights to get back to Brisbane. Planning is in the early stages and nothing is set. Time of year will be August/September. We are unable to get to do the event on race day as logistics involved are beyond us. What we as the organisers need to know is how many members would commit to doing the event so we can can continue with the task of making this a brilliant event.
